Orange Design Studio is celebrating a stand-out year after being awarded both the 2026 Houzz Award for Design and the 2026 Houzz Award for Client Service, marking a major milestone for the Mirfield-based residential architecture practice.
This year’s recognition is especially meaningful as it marks the studio’s eighth year in a row winning a Best of Houzz award for Client Service, and the first time the practice has also taken home the Design award in the same year — a rare double win that reflects both creative excellence and a consistently client-focused approach.
Earlier this year, Orange Design Studio was also named Most Innovative Residential Architectural Practice by Build Magazine, adding to a growing list of accolades.
In 2025 alone, the studio picked up several awards recognising its work in design quality, client satisfaction, and service delivery.
Founded on the belief that building or creating your dream home should be an enjoyable, approachable process regardless of budget, Orange Design Studio has become known across Yorkshire and beyond for delivering thoughtful, high-quality residential projects.
The practice is behind a number of notable local homes, including the much-admired Yew Tree Farm in Farnley Tyas, among many other bespoke residential transformations.
The practice continues to work for homeowners, creating creative home extensions, beautiful self-build homes but also works for a number of smaller developers creating high-quality housing developments.
