Property entrepreneur Chan Khangura completes his 4th acquisition of 2026 as growth trajectory continues

Property entrepreneur Chan Khangura has completed his fourth acquisition of 2026 and said his growth strategy is all about creating opportunities and providing the best possible service.

Chan, managing director of Whitegates in Mirfield, has completed 14 acquisitions in 14 years and his latest acquisition is Harvey & Ryall Estate Agents in Linthwaite, near Huddersfield.

Chan, whose lettings business has over 1,900 managed properties, said: “Our acquisition strategy is central to our long-term growth ambitions and is all about giving the best possible service to our clients, both existing ones and the new ones we bring on board.

“By bringing established local businesses into the Whitegates family we bring talented people and strong local brands under one roof. We are also delighted long-standing staff member Kaylee Scaife will be joining the team.

“Every acquisition strengthens our presence, broadens our expertise and creates greater opportunities for our colleagues and clients alike.”

Chan thanked Keon and Emma Ryall and clients of Harvey & Ryall for their continued support.

“I’m incredibly grateful to the business owners who choose to entrust us with what is often the result of decades of hard work,” he said.

“Selling a business is one of the biggest decisions an entrepreneur can make, and we never take that responsibility for granted.

“The trust they place in us to look after their colleagues, continue serving their clients and protect the legacy they’ve built means a great deal to me personally.”

Chan added: “Completing our fourth acquisition of the year is another significant milestone and demonstrates both the strength of our business and our confidence in the future.

“We’re not interested in growth for growth’s sake. We are focused on partnering with like-minded estate agencies that share our values and commitment to exceptional customer service.

“By integrating those businesses carefully and respectfully, we’re building a stronger organisation that benefits our people, our clients and the communities we serve for many years to come.”
