A ‘design a thank you card’ competition has been launched to celebrate the work of volunteers in Kirklees.
Third Sector Leaders Kirklees, the charity which runs volunteering across the district, wants children and adults to create a special card ahead of National Volunteers’ Week 2026 in June.
Becky Bracey, volunteer services manager at TSL Kirklees, said: “We’re celebrating Volunteers’ Week by creating a special card to say a huge thank you to all the amazing volunteers in Kirklees – and we want your help designing it!
“We want people to create a card that shows appreciation, gratitude and the impact volunteers make. It can be heartfelt, fun, creative – whatever you think best captures the spirit of volunteering.
“Have fun with it! This is all about celebrating the incredible people who give their time to help others.”
Anyone can enter and there are three categories for ages 0-10 years, 11-17 years and 18-plus.
